Crazy to see these birds in the wild 🦜 Btw, I can’t seem to get into posting frequently again. I keep avoiding social media & I’m not sure why. Looking through my pictures & thinking about all of the adventures of the past few months (before corona happened) brings up a lot of mixed feelings. I’m grateful for so many things, but sometimes it feels like none of it even happened. I made such a bold move last year & now I’m suddenly catapulted back into isolation. This is exactly what I was trying to escape & the opposite of what I was chasing. And it’s not that things are bad, it’s just that I’m too comfortable. I’m way too good at social distancing. Not sure if this makes sense to anyone, but yea 🤷🏻‍♀️ How are y’all doing during this madness? Dm me if you wanne talk x

It feels weird to keep posting happy travel pictures when travel is the last thing on people’s minds (& understandably so). To be honest, it’s also the last thing on my mind. I’m finding it hard to be productive, but I’m really trying to push myself because I know future me will regret falling into a black hole. So, long story short, I will keep posting my travel pics & hopefully find joy in reliving all of the beautiful memories I made in Costa Rica. I am no longer in Costa Rica 🇨🇷 The adventure has come to an end... though I’ve tumbled straight into a new one, as I’m now living abroad (in Germany). My parents moved to a small mountain village right before Belgium went into lockdown & now we’re all here, adapting to these crazy times. My life has always been chaotic, so I’m not freaking out just yet, though it sucks I have to cancel my travel plans & see my blog lose all of its traffic. However, I’m very grateful that I’m healthy & surrounded by nature. I hope you’re all doing okay too💛

Due to all of the corona madness, I’ve decided to hop on the earliest flight to Germany, which is this Tuesday. I simply cannot risk being stuck in Costa Rica, because I don’t have the means to be here for much longer. I never thought my trip would end this way, but here we are!
